Residential Manager (Human Services)
Full-Time | $25/hour | Benefits Eligible
Location: Washington / Union / Sullivan, MO
Position Overview
ABiLITY is seeking a Residential Manager to oversee staff and services in residential homes providing 24-hour supports to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is responsible for staff supervision, service quality, and day-to-day program operations while ensuring health, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support direct support professionals
- Oversee health, safety, and quality of services for individuals supported
- Coordinate medical appointments, follow-up care, and documentation
- Maintain accurate individual and agency records
- Provide leadership coverage, including rotating on-call responsibilities
- Promote a respectful, inclusive, and person-centered culture
Schedule
- Full-time, flexible schedule based on program needs
- Evening and weekend availability required
- On-call rotation included
Compensation
Starting pay: $25.00 per hour
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field OR
- Five (5) or more years of verified experience in the human services field
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Experience as a DSP, Residential Manager, Program Manager, Case Manager, or Supervisor in human services is strongly valued
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications
