What are the responsibilities and job description for the First Grade (1st) or Second Grade (2nd) Stationary Engineer position at Abilities Unlimited Inc.?
We're seeking a 1st or 2nd grade Stationary Engineer
- Primary responsibilities are to keep all facility central plant(s) operations up and running with scheduled preventative maintenance as required.
- Able to troubleshoot most issues with large central plant operations. Capable of performing calibrations on instruments as required. Completes major repairs and in-depth preventative maintenance in a primary area of facilities operations and maintenance as well as other facility maintenance services as may be assigned.
- Uses tools and equipment that are standard issue but may need and can be further calibrated or adjusted.
- Keeps tools and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Observes and complies with all company safety policies.
- Uses required personal protective equipment while satisfying all work requests. Completes all required paperwork timely and accurately.
- Experience with repair and replacement of food production equipment is necessary at this facility
- Works on and completes all facility team-based goals.
EXPERIENCE:
- Two (2) to five (5) years of responsibilities in specific areas of assignment with a current Stationary Engineer License. 1st or 2nd grade license required
- Good understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance (PM) tasks with the ability to document PM tasking and frequency changes.
- Must have TDLR
- Must have EPA Universal
* Must hold valid 1st or 2nd Stationary Engineer License with the City
Location: Bush Airport Pay Rate: $42 hourly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $29.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
