Responsibilities
- Assist the residential program with keep the houses cleaned and supplied
- Assist the residential program with transportation of the clients to medical appointments and community outings
- Complete all duties of a DSP when covering a shift in the residential program
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the needs of the clients.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for success in this role.
