What are the responsibilities and job description for the JOB COACH -Nassau County (Summer) position at Abilities, Inc., at The Viscardi Center?
Abilities, Inc. at The Viscardi Center is a nonprofit organization located on Long Island that prepares adolescents and adults with disabilities for entry into the workforce through job training, placement services, career counseling, and much more.
Provide intensive pre-placement and placement support services, including, but not limited to: skills training at the job site, task analysis, situational assessments, social integration, and travel training.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 2:15pm
Qualifications & Education:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent and prior experience working with adolescents or adults with disabilities through job coaching, job development, or other business experience preferred. Ability to travel locally is a must.
