Job Summary: The Program Coordinator plays a key support role in the day-to-day operations of the LEAP program, ensuring meaningful, person-centered engagement for individuals with disabilities. This position supports the Director of LEAP by coordinating daily schedules and activities, assisting with staffing and transportation needs, maintaining program supplies, and ensuring smooth, mission-driven operations. The ideal candidate is organized, flexible, and committed to supporting individuals in building skills, independence, and community inclusion.
Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily LEAP schedules, activities, and staffing across program locations.

Assist in planning and implementing person-centered programming to promote skill development, social engagement, and community participation.

Monitor transportation schedules and provide coverage during staff absences.

Support staff to ensure participants have necessary tools, resources, and guidance.

Track time, attendance, and maintain accurate program and participant documentation.

Serve as a communication link between program areas and team leads.

Communicate effectively and respectfully with program participants.

Respond to emergencies and summon emergency personnel as needed.

Maintain CPR and medication administration certifications; perform CPR and Heimlich maneuver when necessary.

Safely supervise participants and use adaptive equipment as required.

Bachelor’s degree.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in administrative, operational, or support roles, preferably in disability services or day programming.

Strong organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal skills with empathy and patience.

Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs.

Valid driver’s license.
