Abilene Childcare Learning Center 2, is looking for a Teacher Floater

Floater Position:
This position is for a qualified teacher floater/assistant that will complete daily chores, work in different classrooms for staff breaks and help close at the end of the day from 10-530 or on occasion a full day of 7:30-5:30 with a 30 min break.
Requirements for ability to give breaks for teachers include: TB Skin Test, KBI background check, complete trainings required for licensing and have a minimum of 6 months experience with Infants, Toddlers and Preschool age to qualify as a teacher assistant.

Responsibilities:
- Follow Abilene Childcare Learning Center, Inc. and CACFP procedures and guidelines when working on a job.
- Maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
- Follow all KDHE guidelines and regulations.
- Follow chore list accurately and in timely manner.
- Staff bathroom breaks as needed.
- Active supervision for children while giving staff breaks.
- Follow instructions well while assisting in classrooms.
- Learn how to close classrooms.
- Understand child development.
- Communication skills with staff, parents, and directors.
- Maintain a professional demeanor during shifts.
Experience:
6 months having worked with ages 0-5.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
