Abiding Home Care Services is seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the clinical operations of our recently CHAP-accredited Home Health Agency in Las Vegas.
For more than 15 years, Abiding Home Care Services has been serving the Las Vegas community, providing compassionate, high-quality care that allows clients and patients to remain safely and comfortably in their homes. Established in 2009, the organization has built a strong reputation in Southern Nevada through its personal care services and is now expanding its clinical footprint through its home health division.

Position Summary
The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall management and oversight of all clinical services within the home health agency. The DON will ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation, CHAP standards, state regulations, and agency policies while maintaining exceptional patient outcomes and supporting organizational growth.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada
- Minimum of three years of leadership experience in Medicare-certified home health.
- Previous experience as: Director of Nursing (DON), Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), Clinical Manager, or Similar clinical leadership role within a home health agency.
Strong knowledge of:
- Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs)
- CHAP accreditation standards
- OASIS documentation and compliance
- QAPI and quality improvement programs
- Required experience with WellSky Home Health software.
- Proven ability to lead interdisciplinary clinical teams and drive operational excellence.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on clinical leader who understands the operational and regulatory demands of home health and has successfully managed staff, compliance initiatives, and quality outcomes within a Medicare-certified agency. Experience leading organizations through surveys, accreditation reviews, and growth initiatives is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for all home health clinical operations.
- Ensure compliance with Medicare, CHAP, and state regulatory requirements.
- Oversee clinical documentation, OASIS accuracy, and care plan implementation.
- Direct quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing clinical staff.
- Monitor patient outcomes, hospitalization rates, and quality metrics.
- Lead survey readiness activities and maintain accreditation standards.
- Utilize WellSky to manage clinical workflows, reporting, compliance monitoring, and operational performance.
- Collaborate with agency leadership to support strategic growth initiatives and clinical excellence.
