Caregiver

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, particularly with patients requiring direct support, including those with dementia. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Duties

• Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting clients safely as needed.
• Monitor and observe patients for changes in health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Support clients with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or nursing is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong skills in patient observation and the ability to recognize changes in client conditions.
• Experience or training in dementia care is highly desirable.
• Ability to assist with physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients safely.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to caregiving.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required upon hiring; training may be provided.
