Independent Living Skills Trainer

Pay range: $34,000–$41,600 per year
Shift options: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts

Work that supports independence
Support adults recovering from brain injuries, strokes, and traumatic brain injuries as they build independence at home and in the community. Bring calm, dependable assistance to daily routines while respecting each person's choices, privacy, and dignity.
What you will do
• Help clients with daily routines, personal hygiene, dressing, and an organized living environment.
• Provide practical support that encourages safety and independence.
• Coordinate and accompany clients to medical appointments as assigned.
• Encourage exercise, social activities, and participation in community life.
• Build respectful, supportive relationships with the people you assist.
Schedule options
This posting covers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Full-time, part-time, weekday, and weekend schedules are advertised for this position. Indicate which shifts you prefer when applying.
What you need
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license, a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance.
• A personal or professional reference.
• Background check and drug screening are required.
Helpful, but not required
One year of disability-care experience is preferred, not mandatory. Entry-level and experienced applicants are welcome.
