Job Summary
The Compliance Department is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Compliance Associate to support investigation activities, self-audits, active audits, recurring meeting preparation, and compliance paperwork. This role helps ensure regulatory readiness, accurate documentation, timely follow-up, and a culture of accountability, quality care, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Investigation Support
· Assist with intake, tracking, documentation, and follow-up for compliance-related investigations.
· Gather, organize, and review relevant records, reports, communications, and supporting documentation.
· Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Operations, and other internal teams to support timely issue resolution.
· Maintain confidential investigation files and prepare clear summaries, timelines, and action-item trackers.
2. Self-Audit and Active Audit Support
· Support routine self-audits and active audits across departments to help verify compliance with federal, state, local, and company requirements.
· Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to compliance standards.
· Prepare audit checklists, collect audit evidence, document findings, and track corrective action plans.
· Identify potential gaps or risks and escalate findings to Compliance leadership as appropriate.
3. Recurring Meeting Preparation and Paperwork
· Prepare materials for recurring compliance meetings, including agendas, meeting packets, reports, trackers, and follow-up documentation.
· Record meeting notes, maintain action-item logs, and help ensure follow-up items are completed on time.
· Maintain and update compliance documentation, including reports, certifications, permits, logs, forms, and internal records.
· Organize files and paperwork to support audits, investigations, reporting, and regulatory readiness.
4. General Compliance Support
· Support implementation of compliance-related policies, procedures, and regulatory updates.
· Assist with internal reporting on compliance issues, risk trends, and improvement opportunities.
· Handle sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
· Perform other compliance and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
· Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to analyze information, identify issues, draw clear conclusions, and maintain accurate data and documentation.
· Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
· Prior experience in compliance, auditing, investigations, healthcare operations, or administrative support preferred.
· Proficiency in Mandarin and English required; Cantonese preferred.
