Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Nightshift Industrial Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex industrial equipment. This role is critical in ensuring the continuous operation of our manufacturing processes during night shifts, with a focus on preventative maintenance, repairs, and system optimization. Candidates with experience in industrial electrician work and millwright work will excel in this position.
Duties
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Maintain and repair high voltage and low voltage systems to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule preventive maintenance tasks.
- Conduct repairs involving welding precision measuring instruments, and mechanical components.
- Operate scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access elevated or hard-to-reach areas.
- Analyze system performance data to identify potential failures or inefficiencies before breakdowns occur.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize machinery performance during night shifts.
- Follow safety protocols related to high voltage systems, HVAC/R units, and other industrial machinery.
- Assist in training new team members or providing technical support for customer service inquiries related to equipment issues.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using a voltage meter
Skills
- Extensive experience working within manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical troubleshooting tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and system diagrams accurately.
- Experience operating field service equipment such as scissor lifts safely.
- Strong analysis skills for diagnosing complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with internal teams or external clients regarding maintenance needs.
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
