ABGi USA is hiring on behalf of one of our clients located in Foxborough, MA. Our client is a growing public accounting firm serving high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, real estate investors, partnerships, trusts, estates, and nonprofit organizations.
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team and play a key role in delivering high-level tax planning, compliance, and advisory services.
This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong tax professional who enjoys client interaction, complex tax planning, and leading and developing teams.
What You’ll Do
Client Advisory & Tax Strategy
- Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, real estate investors, partnerships, trusts, estates, and nonprofit clients
- Lead proactive tax planning, structuring, and consulting
- Identify tax-saving strategies and planning opportunities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Tax Compliance & Review
- Review and manage complex federal and state tax returns, including:
- High-net-worth individuals
- Partnerships and flow-through entities
- Trusts and estates
- Nonprofit organizations
- Ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and quality across engagements
Technical Leadership
- Apply advanced knowledge of partnership taxation, real estate structures, and flow-through entities
- Research complex tax issues and translate findings into clear, practical guidance for clients
- Serve as a technical resource for both clients and internal team members
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, mentor, and develop senior and junior staff
- Review work and provide meaningful feedback
- Help maintain high standards of quality and client service across the team
Engagement & Project Management
- Oversee multiple client engagements simultaneously
- Manage deadlines, workflow, deliverables, and client expectations
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure engagements stay on track
What We’re Looking For
- CPA required
- 6 years of public accounting tax experience, including experience at the Manager level or as a strong Senior ready to take the next step
- Strong experience with:
- High-net-worth individuals
- Partnerships and flow-through entities
- Real estate taxation
- Trusts and estates
- Nonprofit taxation is a plus
- Strong technical tax planning and compliance background
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and lead teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
