ELITE Home Trade Pros: Summer Marketing Internship
With our aggressive goals for year end, our team is searching for a high caliber marketing/media student seeking an opportunity to be involved in real world marketing strategy for our HVAC & Electric company.
Internship details:
Pay: Due to the late addition of this position in the year, this is an unpaid internship but we believe a meaningful experience for your resume or college credit. We’re opening our office up for our first ever intern, with career mentorship. Read on for details and ancillary benefits.
Hours: Starting May 19th through August 6th (able to adjust timeline to your school schedule if needed). Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays 9AM - 2PM or similar. Total approx. 15 hours a week. May flex time if pre-arranged for vacations, commitments, etc. Additionally, we may have some special events outside of these hours where you could flex time.
Internship duties:
- Social media content creation, scheduling and posting. This will be a primary focus and emphasis of the role. Please submit any samples you have that you feel would be applicable.
- Project implementation.
- Assistance with our campaign work:
- Pay Per Click
- Direct Mail - opportunities to help with copywriting for select portions, printing, list management, and vendor communications
- Email marketing - copywriting and potential design/formatting help
- SMS campaigns
- Traditional Media
- Special Events for our target audience
- Sitting in on vendor calls and team meetings
- Seeing the success of our business through your own ideas and contributions
Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or similar.
- Ability to work well with others, lead self, stay on task, work hard and bring a positive outlook.
- A portfolio of work samples to share as it relates to the above position.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the above areas whether it be through coursework, other internships, group projects, or employment.
