Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Property Cleaning Specialist to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of residential properties. In this energetic role, you will ensure that units are sanitized, refreshed and welcoming for new tenants or Airbnb guests. Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential properties, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning/shampooing, among other various cleaning needs.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic living environments
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively to clean surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery
- Manage laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Handle manual lifting of cleaning supplies safely during deep cleans or heavy-duty tasks
- Maintain cleanliness of all cleaning tools and equipment through regular inspection and proper storage
- Ability to manage an online schedule through google calendar and effectively communicate with office staff.
- Manage time efficiently to complete scheduled cleaning tasks within designated timeframes
- Follow health and safety guidelines related to janitorial practices and sanitation standards
- Assist with housekeeping management duties when required, including inventory management of supplies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, equipment, and safety protocols for manual handling and heavy lifting
- Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting of cleaning equipment
- Basic knowledge of laundry processes and housekeeper management practices is advantageous
