What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAMPLER TECH. / GRAIN INSPECTOR position at Aberdeen Grain Inspection (Located in Mitchell, SD)?
WE TRAVEL IN A COMPANY VEHICLE TO DIFFERENT GRAIN ELEVATORS IN THE AREA, THEN WE SAMPLE AND INSPECT GRAIN.
JOB DUTIES
- MUST be able to climb on top of railcars
- Take samples of each railcar and test the grain using Federal Grain Inspection procedures outlined by the Federal Grain Inspection Service (FGIS).
- Prepare grain for grading by running tests and awarding each railcar with a corresponding grade based on moisture content, test weight, and foreign material presence.
- Be able and willing to work long hours and weekends when needed ... we pay you for your Overtime hours :-)
- $17.00 an hour starting you get raises as you get your grain licenses
- NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY WE WILL TRAIN!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
