Overview
Aberdeen Community Theatre is seeking a Scenic Designer / Technical Director to lead the design and execution of scenic and technical elements across multiple productions each season. This is a hands-on role with a clear path to grow into a Technical Director position.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute scenic elements for mainstage and youth productions
- Oversee set construction, painting, and technical build-out
- Support lighting and sound design as needed
- Manage production timelines to ensure deadlines are met
- Provide technical support during rehearsals and performances
- Collaborate with staff and lead volunteers throughout the production process
Qualifications
- Experience in scenic design, technical direction, or theatre production
- Ability to manage projects from concept through execution
- Hands-on experience with tools, construction, and stage equipment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $38,000–$43,000 (based on experience)
