Job Description: Position Summary: The Manager, National Accounts, plays a strategic role in developing and supporting key initiatives within the National Accounts Department. This position works closely with the Vice President and Director of National Accounts, Inside Sales, and A&K’s global DMC offices, with a focus on consortia, strategic and key accounts, top producers (100 Club), and Advisory Board agency growth. The role encompasses relationship management, reporting, event coordination, ROI analysis, and administrative support to ensure the successful execution of sales and marketing initiatives aligned with A&K’s brand standards. Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Agency & Partner Relations Serve as the primary contact for consortia and strategic partner inquiries related to National Account reporting, payments, and initiatives. Ensure timely and accurate updates to partner intranet sites, including staffing and promotional content. Liaise with sales directors and internal departments regarding guest relations or booking challenges Sales & Reporting Develop, track, and report on National and Strategic Account initiatives, including monthly performance metrics, overrides, and tactical reporting. Distribute weekly/monthly sales reports to consortia and strategic partners; oversee override payouts and ad hoc reporting. Maintain department agreement worksheets and invoice trackers for internal audits Collaborate with IT to enhance reporting tools and implement new solutions for National Accounts. Marketing & Events Maintain and update the National Accounts event calendar, ensuring coverage for conferences, trade shows, and webinars. Support and represent A&K at National Account events and conferences as needed, including but not limited to packing boxes and displays for shipment, coordinating onsite set-up of meeting spaces and tradeshow booths, including packing and managing return shipments. Assist in coordinating conference dinners, including mapping table assignments, place cards, room set-up, and breakdown Coordinate with Marketing to prepare presentation materials and fulfill National Account marketing content requests. Track and manage promotional offers (e.g., SBCs, gift cards), ensuring proper posting to relevant bookings. Administrative & Financial Support Process partner invoices weekly and assist in monthly expense reconciliation with Accounting and leadership. Assist in annual departmental budget planning and submission. Manage distribution and execution of annual agreements with consortia and strategic partners. Database & Systems Management Maintain the retail agency and travel advisor database in collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Ensure accurate configuration and data integrity of consortia and agency records in the OneIS database. Strategic Support & Special Projects Provide backup support for the VP and the Director during travel or events. Collaborate with SVP and VP, Sales, to manage annual 100 Club membership updates. Lead or contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Strong sales and customer service orientation. Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills. Effective verbal, written, and presentation communication. High attention to detail and follow-through. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint). Project management and CRM/database experience preferred. Education and Additional Experience Minimum 5 years of progressive sales experience in travel, leisure, or hospitality industries. Demonstrated success in account management and sales performance. International destination knowledge (especially A&K destinations) preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Special Requirements Hybrid role based in A&K’s Downers Grove, IL office (4 days in-office, 1 day remote). Up to 25% travel annually to support National Account events and conferences.
