Maintenance Technician – Oceanfront Hotel (Abellona Inn & Suites)
Full-Time, Year-Round | On-Call Required
Abellona Inn & Suites is seeking a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our oceanfront hotel team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work, takes pride in keeping a property running smoothly, and thrives in a guest-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform snow removal and light landscaping (sweeping walkways, trash disposal, basic outdoor upkeep).
- Handle general maintenance tasks, including:
- Troubleshooting thermostats
- Swapping out small appliances
- Installing and removing seasonal window A/C units
- Addressing day-to-day maintenance issues as they arise
- Assist guests by responding to minor in-room concerns and maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with professional electricians and plumbers for major repairs.
On-Call Requirements
- In-season (summer): On call 4 nights per week after your shift until 9:00 AM the next morning. Must be able to arrive onsite within 30 minutes of a call.
- Off-season (winter): On call primarily during snow events.
