About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior HUD Compliance Analyst to oversee voucher and special claims processing within a multifamily housing portfolio. What You’ll Do
- Lead and support a team of 7–8 staff responsible for HUD voucher and special claims processing
- Serve as a subject matter expert on HUD 4350.3 regulations and compliance requirements
- Provide guidance to internal staff, property owners, and agents on policy and procedural questions
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of voucher data, including TRACS compliance and error resolution
- Review, analyze, and respond to special claims and appeals
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and feedback
- Act as liaison between the agency and housing software/vendor systems
- Prepare reports, documentation, and audit responses as needed
- Support ongoing process improvements and regulatory updates
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 3 years of experience in HUD multifamily housing programs
- Strong working knowledge of HUD Handbook 4350.3
- Experience in roles such as:
- Occupancy Specialist
- Compliance Specialist
- Property Manager (HUD/Section 8)
- Affordable Housing Program Specialist
- Ability to interpret and apply HUD regulations and policies
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred:
- Supervisory or team lead experience
- AHM certification or equivalent
- Experience working with TRACS, voucher processing, or compliance systems
