Bioprocess Solutions Engineer, Custom Single-Use Technologies

ABEC is seeking a Bioprocess Solutions Engineer to develop innovative technical solutions for global biopharmaceutical manufacturing customers. In this highly visible role, you'll serve as a key link between customers, Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Operations teams, helping transform complex manufacturing challenges into customized solutions that drive customer success and business growth.

What You'll Do

• Develop technical and commercial proposals for biopharma manufacturing solutions.
• Interpret customer requirements and recommend optimal process and equipment solutions.
• Generate budgetary and definitive cost estimates, pricing, and proposals.
• Serve as a technical expert supporting customer meetings, presentations, and sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Project Management teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Review purchase orders and contracts for technical and commercial alignment.
• Support product launches, sales training, and marketing initiatives.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and project performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Travel to customer sites up to 30%.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
• Prior experience in bioprocess engineering, technical pre-sales, applications engineering, equipment design, or product management.
• Knowledge of bioprocess equipment preferred.
• Understanding of cGMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing and capital project execution.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to navigate both technical and commercial business environments.
• Experience supporting global customers and commercial opportunities.
