Position Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP Project Lead to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions that leverage the latest in SAP technologies to deliver output that meets the client’s expectations and resolves their business challenges.
Responsibilities include a range of activities, including:
Strategic Business Acumen
- Proven ability to translate complex SAP functionalities into clear business value propositions, facilitating stakeholder buy-in and driving innovation.
- Demonstrated experience in aligning SAP solutions with business objectives to optimize processes and enhance profitability.
- Track record of identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to leverage SAP capabilities for business growth and competitive advantage.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams to implement innovative SAP solutions that drive sales performance.
- In-depth knowledge of industry-specific challenges and SAP solutions in sectors such as Automotive, Discrete Manufacturing, Consumer Packaged Goods, or Medical Equipment.
- Ability to customize SAP functionalities to meet unique industry requirements and regulatory standards.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Experience in managing full-cycle SAP implementations, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
- Skilled in change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and user adoption of new SAP systems.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules relevant to the role – FICO, MM, SD - with the ability to configure and optimize systems for maximum efficiency.
- Familiarity with emerging SAP technologies and trends to keep solutions current and effective.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Japanese is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse client bases.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
- Residency in Southern California with the flexibility to travel to client sites as needed.
- Understanding of the local business landscape to tailor SAP solutions effectively.
- This is a contract-to-hire position. No C2C.
Compensation (Contract Period): $80 - $145 per hour (contractor rate), depending on experience and specialization.
Potential Employee Conversion: After ~3 months, this role may convert to full-time employment. If converted, the expected base salary range is approximately $90,000 - $3000,000 annually, plus eligibility for discretionary bonus and benefits.
