As our commercial and industrial business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Commercial & Industrial Coatings Technical Specialist to join our team and help support our customers and expanding sales organization.
The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a coatings professional who enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with customers, and sharing their knowledge with others.
You'll serve as a trusted technical resource to our commercial sales team and customers, helping identify the right coating systems, troubleshoot application challenges, and deliver solutions that build customer confidence and loyalty.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical expertise and support to our commercial and industrial sales team.
- Recommend coating systems and products based on customer applications and requirements.
- Troubleshoot coating performance, application, and product-selection challenges.
- Help customers understand and successfully use a wide range of industrial coatings.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, sales representatives, and suppliers.
- Travel throughout our Western Florida territory to support customer needs.
What We're Looking For
- Several years of hands-on technical experience with commercial and industrial coatings.
- Strong working knowledge of urethanes, alkyds, powder coatings, primers, undercoats, and related coating systems.
- Proven ability to diagnose coating problems and recommend practical solutions.
- Strong communication and active listening skills.
- A customer-first attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with a sales team.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Western Florida.

Compensation & Position Details
- Annual salary: $65,000–$75,000
