Inside/Outside Sales for Fence : Full-time
ABE Fence, Inc. in Whitehall, PA is looking for an inside & outside Sales Rep for Fence, Railing, Gates, etc. We are an established fence company specializing in wood, vinyl, chain-link, aluminum, commercial/residential/industrial fencing. We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship, honest pricing, and great customer service. We’re looking for a motivated sales professional who can handle both inside and outside sales responsibilities.
Job Description-
The Inside/Outside Fence Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, managing incoming leads, meeting customers on-site, preparing estimates, and closing sales. This role combines office-based sales work with in-field customer consultations.
Inside Sales Duties-
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and online inquiries
- Qualify leads and schedule on-site estimates
- Follow up on estimates and proposals
- Maintain customer records
- Upsell fencing options, gates, and upgrades
- Coordinate with production and installation teams
Outside Sales Duties-
- Conduct on-site measurements and customer consultations
- Present fencing options and pricing to customers
- Build relationships with homeowners, contractors, and property managers
- Close residential and/or commercial fence sales
- Attend site visits and job walk-throughs as needed
- Represent the company professionally in the field
Requirements-
- Sales experience (construction, fencing, home improvement preferred)
- Comfortable with both phone sales and in-person selling
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read property layouts and take accurate measurements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Basic computer skills (email, estimating software)
Preferred (Nice to Have)-
- Fence industry experience
- Construction or home improvement sales background
- Knowledge of local codes or permitting processes
