We value precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement — and we're looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to help maintain the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.
What You'll Do
- Prepare financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and variance analyses
- Execute full-cycle month-end close including journal entries, accruals, and prepaid amortizations
- Maintain and analyze standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead in a manufacturing environment
- Perform GL account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Conduct flex (flexible budget) analysis to compare actual vs. budgeted costs
- Support internal and external audits and help strengthen internal controls
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
- Hands-on experience with cost accounting, including standard costing and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- ERP system experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred
