ABC Supply Interiors is seeking an experienced Customer Account Executive. In this role, you will provide support to all branches within the ABC Supply Interiors South Atlantic Region. You will be responsible for working with branches, credit, accounts receivable and accounting teams to best serve our customers.
*This position will work out of the ABC Supply National Support Center Campus in Beloit, Wisconsin in a hybrid work arrangement (3-days a week in office)*
Specific duties may include:
- Executing collection strategies utilizing GetPaid business software application
- Conducting collection activities via phone, email, fax and other correspondence
- Monitoring customer collection activity and making recommendations on changes to customer collection strategy as appropriate
- Negotiating and communicating payment plans with CFS Manager when appropriate
- Recommending suspension of delinquent accounts when appropriate
- Communicating collection trends and business updates to the CFS Manager
- Ensuring credit risk protection measures (i.e., joint checks, initiating Preliminary Notices, lien waivers, bond claims, etc.) are in place based on terms of sale for ABC Supply Interiors customers
- Monitoring and executing lien rights within State mandated deadlines
- Building effective relationships with customers
- Collaborating with peers to minimize the company’s bad debt and collect past due balances
- Completing various monthly reports including monthly aging and suspension reports
Specific qualifications include:
- Minimum of five years experience with credit, accounting and/or collections is required
- Preferred construction industry background - experience issuing notices, filing liens and issuing lien waivers is highly desired
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Strong MS Excel and database skills
- Positive attitude and team player
