Role Description
The Director will plan and implement ballet curriculum, teach classes for a variety of ages and skill levels, and mentor both students and staff. Additional responsibilities include choreographing performances, assisting with recitals or competitions, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. The Director will also oversee administrative tasks, including class schedules, tracking student progress, and parent communication, which can be done remotely, if preferred. This hybrid role is an opportunity to lead and grow a dynamic ballet program within a supportive studio community.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Ballet Technique, Choreography, and Dance Instruction
- Experience in developing curriculum and managing class structures
- Strong Leadership, Communication, and Team Management skills
- Ability to inspire and mentor students of varying skill levels and ages
- Organizational skills for scheduling, planning performances, and student assessments
- Prior experience in an educational or studio setting is highly valued
- Passion for fostering a supportive and inclusive community
- Relevant certifications or degrees in Dance, Ballet, or Performing Arts preferred but not required
