What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at ABC’s for Success?
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders
- Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and daily living skills
-Accurately record and document behavioral data (e.g., frequency, duration, ABC data).
-Work closely with BCBAs, caregivers, teachers, and other team members to ensure consistency in interventions.
```Qualifications:```
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other neurodevelopmental disorders preferred
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain required clearances
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with ASD and other neurodevelopmental disorders
**MUST SPEAK FLUENT ENGLISH**
**MUST HAVE MEDICAID PROVIDER AND MDCPS BADGE**
**Required RBT Certification**
**RBTS ARE NEEDED IN HOMESTEAD, AND Central Miami AREAS
