Are You a Hunter, Not Just an Order-Taker?
We are looking for a driven Roofing & Solar Sales Consultant who knows how to create opportunities—not wait for them.
This is not a sit-back-and-wait-for-leads sales role. While some company leads are provided, this position is built for someone willing to prospect, self-generate business, and aggressively pursue revenue. If you are comfortable door knocking, canvassing neighborhoods, cold calling, asking for referrals, networking, and following storm or solar opportunities, this may be the opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do
- Generate and close residential roofing and solar sales
- Prospect daily through:
- Door knocking / neighborhood canvassing
- Cold calling
- Self-generated leads and referrals
- Networking and relationship building
- Following storm damage and reroof opportunities
- Identifying solar opportunities through proactive outreach
- Run appointments with company-provided leads and self-generated opportunities
- Inspect roofs, identify homeowner needs, and present roofing and solar solutions
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline
- Follow up relentlessly and move prospects through the sales process
- Work independently while following company sales systems and coaching
- Travel as needed to develop and close opportunities
- Properly track and document all leads, opportunities, follow-up activity, and sales through company systems and processes
Key Performance Expectations (KPIs)
Following a 30-60 day onboarding and training period, team members will be expected to meet the following performance standards:
- Generate and pitch at least 3 self-generated leads per week
- Produce a minimum of $30,000 in weekly sales
- Maintain accurate and timely lead tracking, notes, pipeline updates, and documentation within company processes and CRM
- Consistently maintain prospecting activity levels needed to support revenue goals
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales experience required
- Roofing and/or solar sales experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of roofing systems, reroofing, repairs, or solar systems required
- Strong lead generation and prospecting mentality required
- Self-starter with “go get it” attitude
- Ability to follow direction and learn quickly
- Strong closing, communication, and customer relationship skills
- Willingness to complete a DISC Personality Assessment (DI personality type preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
