About the RoleThe Production Manager is responsible for all field operations — scheduling, coordinating crews, managing materials, and ensuring that every job runs smoothly from start to finish.
This is a leadership position for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves logistics, and takes pride in running efficient, profitable projects.
You’ll oversee multiple roofing and solar installation crews, coordinate with our office team, and make sure every customer gets a high-quality, on-time project.
What You’ll Do- Own the master production schedule for all jobs.
- Manage day-to-day coordination between crews, suppliers, and customers.
- Ensure every job meets the Job Ready Checklist before dispatch.
- Oversee materials, permits, and equipment logistics.
- Mentor crew leads and develops future foremen/women.
- Conduct site visits for quality control and safety.
- Communicate clearly with customers about start dates, progress, and completion.
- Track productivity and job costs; report weekly to the CEO.
- Crews are scheduled 2–3 weeks ahead with minimal downtime.
- Materials, permits, and inspections are never a surprise.
- Jobs finish on schedule and within budget.
- Crews respect your leadership and perform at a high level.
- Customers consistently leave 5-star reviews.
- Love creating order from chaos.
- Communicate clearly — both in the field and the office.
- Know roofing or solar installation inside and out.
- Can juggle multiple jobs without dropping details.

- 5 years of experience in roofing, solar, or construction management.
- Experience in Quality Control and Safety Compliance
- Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Skills
- Strong understanding of project scheduling and crew logistics.
- Proven ability to manage 5–10 crews or $5M–$8M in annual production.
- Proficiency with Software Acculynx/BuilderTrend...
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or Lean Six Sigma, PM Certification preferred
- Base Salary: $75K–$95K DOE
- Performance Bonus: Up to 20% of base
