What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician - Wausau position at ABC Rental Management?
We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Wausau area to join our growing rental management team. We are looking for a dependable, hands on individual with at least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience who takes pride in their work and is willing to go the extra mile to learn and grow with our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing general maintenance and repairs, including painting, flooring, lock changes, and appliance repairs
- Completing unit turns and routine day-to-day maintenance
- Troubleshooting maintenance issues and finding effective solutions
- Traveling between rental properties throughout the Wausau area and possibly other areas
- Maintaining accurate electronic worksheets, records, and documents
- Working with the team to ensure properties are well-maintained and work is completed on time
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Smartphone for work-related communication and documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay organized, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
Pay is based on experience, with opportunities for wage increases based on reliability, work ethic, attitude, and demonstrated abilities.
