Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Transportation Driver to join our team! This is a part-time position with the availability to become full-time. Starting pay is $17 an hour, dependent upon experience. Must pass background check and have a valid driver's license.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of vehicles to transport passengers, children, seniors, or clients to their destinations efficiently and comfortably. Duties
- Safely operate vans for transporting children, in compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist children with loading and unloading from the van.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance reports
Skills
- Proven experience in driving with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities
- Experience working with children and adults
- Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming environment for all passengers
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed routes and schedules accurately while maintaining flexibility as needed
