As a Geotechnical Drilling Expert, you will be part of a well-established fast-growing company with a strong 40 year presence in all of California, with plans to expand into other states. Paid travel and training opportunities are available. Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits are provided. A Company Truck is also included in the package. A sign-on bonus of $5K is offered, paid out as follows: 50% upon hire and the balance at 6 months. Key responsibilities include operating a late model GEFCO Speedstar 50K-CH (Casing Hammer), conducting routine maintenance on drilling equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and collaborating with team members to coordinate safe and efficient drilling operations. Additional duties include maintaining accurate records of drilling operations, submitting paperwork daily, and adhering to strict safety protocols. A minimum of 5 years proven experience in drilling operations with Mud/Air Rotary/ARCH capabilities is required. A valid Class A California Driver's License and clean driving record are also necessary. Strict Zero Tolerance drug policies apply. Willingness to work longer shifts, weekends, and out of town is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of drilling equipment is necessary. Familiarity with various drilling techniques is a plus. Must be physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions.
