Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with educational standards and cater to diverse learning needs
- Create an engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages participation, creativity, and critical thinking
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management strategies
- Conduct assessments, including standardized testing, to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support children’s social-emotional well-being and developmental milestones
- Incorporate early intervention techniques and special education strategies to support children with unique needs
- Plan and lead activities that promote literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall childhood development
- Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral observations
- Foster a safe, inclusive environment that promotes child welfare and respects individual differences
Experience
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or preschool settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated success in curriculum development and lesson planning for young children
- Experience working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is advantageous
- Knowledge of Montessori or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues
- Familiarity with childcare practices, daycare environments, or private school settings enhances suitability for this role
- Experience in teaching physical education, tutoring, or working with toddlers is beneficial
- Understanding of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques is essential
