Daycare Van Driver - Saratoga Springs

ABC Great Beginnings - Saratoga Springs is seeking an experienced Driver and professional to join the team at Utah's largest Professional Childcare company. We are looking for someone to serve as a bus driver for the morning, kindergarten, and afternoon bus runs to our local schools. The functions include, but are not limited to:

• Picking up and dropping off children from school at the area elementary schools.
• Ensuring safe driving practices are followed and basic safety rules are followed on the bus.
• Ability to simultaneously manage the children on the bus while also driving safely.
• General upkeep and maintenance of the buses you operate, as well as other functions or errands requested by management.

Job Essentials:

• Ability to perform First Aid and CPR (with training)
• Ability to detect dangerous situations for children in groups.
• Ability to immediately run and retrieve a child who runs out of a door.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to make quick, sound decisions concerning a child’s safety.
• Ability to stay awake and alert for the duration of a workday.
• Ability to drive a vehicle (if required by the job you are applying for) safely and effectively without impairment.
• Ability to provide an environment that is physically, mentally, and emotionally safe and stable for the children in our care.

Must be at least 21 years old.

· Pay: Our pay rates are competitive with the industry, and there are opportunities for bonuses and pay increases throughout the year. The pay rate is dependent on experience and other factors for each applicant. (Child Care needs, full or part-time, shift availability, etc.) We also offer paid holiday and accrued Paid Time Off.
