Invoice Processor

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Invoice Processor to join our finance team. In this vital role, you will manage the accurate processing of invoices, ensuring timely payments and maintaining precise financial records. Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process incoming invoices using QuickBooks accounting software.
• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions through detailed account reconciliation and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate records of all invoice transactions, supporting documentation, and audit trails.
• Collaborate with vendors, internal departments, and external auditors to resolve discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Make phone calls and send emails on past due accounts.
• Support benefits administration, payroll management, and other HRIS-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger accounting.
• Familiarity with public accounting standards and non-profit or governmental accounting is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability in data entry with high accuracy.
• Excellent analysis skills for account reconciliation and journal entries.
