Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at our Brunswick, OH location. In this on-site role, the Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of construction and industrial equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, performing repairs, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The role also involves maintaining accurate service records and collaborating with team members to provide outstanding customer service.
Qualifications
- Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency in performing routine maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment
- Strong technical skills in equipment diagnostics and problem-solving
- Ability to work safely and follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Previous experience with brands such as Kubota, Genie, Gehl, Wacker, Solar-Tech, Honda, or Stihl is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in equipment repair or related fields preferred
