What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Teacher position at ABC Early Learning Center?
ABC Early Learning Center is currently seeking Childcare Teachers. We are looking for individuals who will teach and supervise them while also motivating them, encourage their learning, and exercise their imagination.
Hours: Available between 6AM-6 PM, hours would vary depending on classroom. and full-time or part-time
Responsibilities:
- Must be dependable and consistent
- Follow lesson plan, prepare planned activities
- Keep daily attendance records
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities, supervision a must!
- Assist other teachers in evaluating children’s performance to make sure they are on the right learning track
- Remain in communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children
- Collaborate/ work with other teachers
- Keeping track of your own professional development and clearances
Skills
- Experience in childcare a plus
- Patience, flexibility and love for children
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Dependable and consistent
Applicants will need a physical with TB test to start. Clearances must be obtained to begin training including background check, child abuse check, FBI fingerprints, and NSOR clearance. Paid training time, including required online trainings. Pay is determined on experience and teaching/school experience.
