Office Support – Property Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and organized assistant to support our property management team. The ideal candidate will have a background in real estate administration and customer service. This role involves assisting with property leasing and maintenance coordination. The Property Management Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining positive relationships with tenants and contributing to the overall success of our property management operations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including answering phone calls, communicating with the tenants with inquiries and others
  • Perform data entry and maintain filing systems to keep records organized and accessible
  • Assist with property management, including showing properties, processing applications, taking the rental checks and preparing lease agreements.
  • Provide administrative support including proofreading documents and managing correspondence
  • Utilize Rentec for the property management
  • Offer customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance office management processes
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the owner
  • Travel may be needed within South Bay/Santa Cruz Area for apartment inspection/move-in or move-out

Qualifications

  • Proven clerical experience in an office environment
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Effective time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Bilingual capabilities to assist a diverse clientele
  • Familiarity with administrative experience in various settings
  • Typing proficiency for efficient data entry

Benefits

  • Currently available 40 hrs. sick time per year, No PTO, No Health Insurance
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 8:45 AM – 5:30 PM, Closed on Bank Holidays
  • Job Type: Full-time, In Person
  • Pay will depend on skills and/or experience

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
