Job Title: Systems Administrator

Reports To: IT Systems Manager

Scope: This Systems Administrator position will play a key role in the expansion, maintenance, and enhancement of the organization's cloud footprint. Primary subject areas will be administration, configuration, and maintenance of Microsoft cloud applications and services. As a member of the IT systems team, the Systems Administrator will also provide technical support to ABC staff for IT hardware and software solutions. Additionally, there will be interaction with staff and leadership to understand business needs and align technical solutions to company goals.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

Manage, monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on Microsoft cloud applications and services including Office 365 suite of applications, Intune, SharePoint, and third-party applications/integrations connected to Azure
Manage policies, processes, and tools to control cloud resource use, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and security best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving efficiency through cloud adoption
Lead and support infrastructure migration projects to cloud platforms
Develop and lead company adoption of cloud governance framework
Manage policies, processes, and tools to control cloud resource use, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory compliance, and security best practices
Administration of the corporate systems including the design, implementation, configuration, documentation, and maintenance
Develop and automate administrative tasks using PowerShell cloud modules and other scripting tools
Apply procedural analysis to IT systems to diagnose issues and ensure optimal performance
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support where appropriate
Performs other duties and special projects as directed

Qualifications:

Minimum 4-year cloud systems administration experience in a corporate environment
Position is on-site and requires daily travel to ABC's Winter Garden, FL site
Strong expertise with Microsoft cloud applications and services
Solid understanding of networking, identity management, and security best practices in cloud environments
Experience creating, maintaining, and following system documentation and procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

Automation \ Scripting \ PowerShell experience
Experience in hybrid cloud environments
Cloud resource migration experience
Microsoft Azure certification
Linux certification

Requirements:

Work with minimal supervision and effectively align with priorities set up by management
Solid interpersonal skills, technically curious and self-motivated
Ability to perform root cause analysis
Ability to synthesize complex and diverse information
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to meet and exceed expectations in a deadline-oriented environment
Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, internal and external customers, operational groups, as well as outside parties
Availability outside of company business hours will be required for system and application upgrades/updates and post-maintenance testing. Occasional out-of-state travel may be required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science related field of study preferred
