We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional growth.
- Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management.
- Lead daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, physical education, and hands-on learning experiences tailored to toddlers’ needs.
- Monitor individual progress through observation and assessment tools and informal evaluations; adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children’s progress, behavioral observations, and developmental milestones through regular updates and parent-teacher conferences.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure consistent quality of care and educational standards.
- Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and childcare best practices while fostering an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds.
Requirements
- Proven classroom experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in early childhood education settings.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and child welfare practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
