## Overview
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in their daily lives.
## Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household chores
- Implement behavior management techniques and support individuals in developing social skills
- Assist individuals in accessing community resources and participating in recreational activities
- Administer first aid when necessary and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for the individuals under your care
## Requirements
- Experience in assisted living, home care, or childcare is preferred
- Knowledge of working with people with autism or developmental disabilities
- Ability to implement behavior management systems effectively
- First aid certification is a plus
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals in need of support
