ABC Automotive Electronics, with locations in Berwyn and Elk Grove village, a 65 year automotive restyler and electronics dealer, is seeking a positive, personable Customer Service Representative for a rewarding career opportunity!
You’ll connect with new people, tackle tough problems, and raise the bar on an excellent customer experience. We specialize in mobile electronics like car stereos, remote car starters, car and truck accessories, and emergency and vehicle safety products. Compensation:$17 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Keep track of customer accounts and make updates with new account information as necessary
- Interact with the sales lead to maintain and improve service and product knowledge
- Provide thorough follow-ups to customer interactions, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Answer phones and consult with customers for solutions for their vehicles
- Input customers' information on the computer and bill customers out
- Help maintain a clean work environment
- Assist customers by showing the products we carry
- Drive the company vehicle to pick up orders
- Assist Spanish-speaking customers if available
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a customer-oriented atmosphere
- Excellent active listening, interpersonal, and communication skills
- High school graduate, G.E.D. recipient, or equivalent
- Basic computer skills and searching for products on the internet
- Proper phone etiquette
- Good attitude and the willingness to learn
- Use a computer to create invoices and bill customers for work completed
- Help maintain a clean environment
