Duties

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, assisting them in selecting the correct auto parts and accessories based on their vehicle needs.
• Provide technical advice on automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures to help customers make informed decisions.
• Manage inventory control by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering duties while maintaining excellent phone etiquette for customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with the service team to support automotive service and repair operations by ensuring timely availability of parts.
• Promote dealership services and marketing initiatives to enhance customer engagement and retention.

Skills

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Experience with automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and vehicle maintenance to better assist customer needs.
• Proficiency in retail math, Microsoft Excel, inventory management, POS systems, and inventory control processes.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for stocking, order fulfillment, and maintaining a tidy work environment.
• Negotiation skills to effectively upsell products and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of dealership experience, automotive service procedures, and marketing strategies is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately while demonstrating professionalism in phone etiquette and customer service interactions.
