Job Summary
We are seeking an individual to work with our toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children.
During the summer, this is a floating position in our toddler, preschool and school-aged classroom. Monday-Friday 8:30AM-5PM.
After summer, it is a split position between our toddler classroom and our preschool classroom. Monday-Friday. Alternating 8AM-5PM and 8:30AM-5:30PM.
Applicant must be 18 years of age.
Responsibilities:
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Follow schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
- Follow all state and local regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent or in high school and at least one year verifiable experience working with children.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children and their families
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable and prompt
