Operate machine in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties for this job include the following but other duties may be assigned.
- Know how to set up the machinery and run it
- Run product according to spec sheets
- Clean the machine from water on the roller and tube
- Assemble the hopper
- Set up the program for the product being ran
- Know what film and tube to use for the product being ran
- Check metal detector
- Make adjustments when the machine is running and fix the machine in your best knowledge when it breaks down, notify your supervisor and maintenance right away if you cannot fix the issue
- Know the responsibilities of the general labor employees
- Ensure the product being bagged is acceptable
- Ensure that all metal detector checks and weights are within specified range and documented
- Double check with the lead that the paperwork is properly documented
- Verify that the proper date code is on the bag
- Verifications need to be done every half hour and documented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
