Purpose:
The Reliability Maintenance Technician will utilize planning principles to maximize the use of resources in executing essential maintenance tasks, including calibration, preventive maintenance, and responding to urgent demands. The Technician will be responsible for coordinating and/or conducting equipment maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and calibration of lab equipment at our ABA facility.
- Act as the lead for coordinating maintenance shutdowns, operations labor needs, technical resources, vendor support, parts, materials and work orders.
- Document all maintenance activity accurately in CMMS, drawing on your expertise as a highly skilled specialist and SME in relevant areas to contribute to the development of concepts and techniques.
- Assist managers and group leadership in planning and leading area activities, taking into account all facets of maintenance (on demand, preventative, calibration, and repairs). Assign Maximo work orders to the appropriate resources and schedule activities.
- Ensure that GLP and safe work policy procedures are followed and maintained in accordance with established company policies.
- Lead creation of new Job Plans and/or Data Sheets and identify opportunities to improve the way we work.
- Prioritize maintenance work that affects safety or quality, responding quickly to minimize downtime. Collaborate closely with asset owners and operations to determine optimal timing for maintenance activities.
- Provide support for system and lab equipment startup validation, and offer off-hours assistance during emergencies, daily operations, and projects requiring non-business hours.
- Handle complex tasks creatively and effectively, consistently taking independent action and showing a high degree of initiative to resolve issues. Make recommendations for new procedures and act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of three years of relevant experience in calibration or a related field. Additionally, must exhibit mastery in various skilled trade disciplines, as outlined by the department.
- Proficiency in MS Windows and extensive knowledge of MAXIMO (SAP or Blue Mountain).
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities through consistently providing high-quality service. Cultivate and establish positive relationships and connection with internal stakeholders within the organization.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with other departments.

Salary : $58,500 - $98,000
