Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Support Scientist II to assist in the development of new medical devices for the blood transfusion market. The role will involve supporting diagnostic product development through experimentation, data analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for diagnostic products and Clinical Chemistry instruments.
- Design and conduct experiments, analyze results, and summarize findings.
- Perform subsystem development, log analysis, complex experimental setups, and troubleshooting.
- Write technical protocols, reports, and maintain clear documentation in compliance with GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical field (Science or Bio-Engineering preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience (an advanced degree may offset experience requirements).
- Hands-on experience with Clinical Chemistry analyzer testing.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel and similar programs.
- Basic knowledge of Python or similar programming languages.
- Solid laboratory techniques and a detail-oriented approach to experimental work.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (GMP, ISO, FDA) is highly desirable.
- Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent computer proficiency (Excel and data management tools).
- Basic programming skills (Python or equivalent).
- Good laboratory practices and experimental design experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
