What You’ll Do

The Sr Supervisor, Maintenance leads the plant maintenance function to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment and systems. This role drives uptime, manages budgets and personnel, and ensures compliance with regulatory and company standards while supporting production and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Direct Reports : 3 Maintenance (electrical and mechanical) Supervisors across 3 shifts
• Indirect Reports : 40 Maintenance employees (Mechanics, Electricians, Engineering Technicians) across 3 shifts
• Lead and manage maintenance operations to support production targets, equipment reliability, and plant financial goals
• Ensure safe work practices and full compliance with GMP, OSHA, FDA, and company standards
• Oversee maintenance of all plant equipment, utilities, and systems to maximize uptime and performance
• Manage maintenance budgets, including labor, expenses, and spare parts inventory
• Administer and optimize the preventive maintenance (PM) program and CMMS (e.g., Maximo)
• Supervise maintenance teams, including staffing, performance, and development
• Plan and execute maintenance projects, including coordination with external contractors and engineering support
• Partner cross-functionally with production, quality, and leadership teams to deliver responsive service and continuous improvement
  
  

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Industrial Engineering science, preferred, Food Technology, Business or other related area of study
• 4-8 years’ experience as a Maintenance or Manufacturing Supervisor
• Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• M.B.A. or M.S. Business
• 4 years’ experience as an Engineer

The base pay for this position is $99,300.00 – $198,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
