The Opportunity: The Portland, OR facility is seeking a highly capable and organized Manufacturing Supervisor to drive production performance by maintaining strong daily engagement with staff, using a hands-on approach to communication, problem-solving, and performance management to build a high-performing, motivated team. What You’ll Work On Manage a team of manufacturing operators and production technicians (incl. full-time and contingent staff). Manage day-to-day operations for the production shift, including labor and material flow, production scheduling, line support, and change management. Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through use of standard work and training to those standards, training in operation and inspection techniques, and use of tools/data. Monitor performance metrics and visual management systems to drive accountability and continuous improvement with production staff. Lead cost reduction and operational performance initiatives to improve efficiency, throughput, and overall manufacturing performance to achieve daily and long-term targets. Recruit, develop, and retain a diverse, skilled workforce; provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback. Required Qualifications: Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree Minimum 3 years related work experience in a multi-product manufacturing environment. Strong supervisor skills, with demonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop employees. Effective communication (berval, written), interpersonal, and motivational skills. Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and hold production team accountable for results. Preferred Qualifications Medical device industry experience Experience with manual manufacturing processes (incl. cutting, soldering, crimping). The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00 In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
