This position works out of our Tipp City, OH location in the Abbott Nutrition division.Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You'll Work On
Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of thequality system
Via use of Cambarradio frequencyinventory system, the employee stores, picks or assembles finished product for shipment
Understands and properly utilizesship ordersand associatedwarehousepaperworkand RF terminalsfor shipping/receiving finished product
Maintains proper FIFOflowof finished products (may include operation of a forklift truck with a push-pull attachment)
Stores, picks or assembles raw materials in thewarehouse, verifying the commodity number, quantity, release statusand lot number
Checks materials againstpackaginglists, invoices, freight bills or other pertinentdocumentationto assure conformity and accuracy
Delivers materials toproductionlines in a timelymanner,maintainsproper FIFOflowof raw materials andutilizes knowledge of both raw materials and finishedproduct nomenclature
Cleans up both raw material and finished goodswarehouseareas
Stages labels in mobile security carts forproductionlines
Understands and completeslabel controlportion of work order
Maintainsaccurate recordsand reconcilesinventory errors
Pay and Shift
The hourly pay for this position is$20.00/hour. Hours for this role are Saturday/Sunday 6pm-6:30am and Monday/Tuesday 11pm-7:30am
Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
Must have experience with sit down forklifts
Must be able to lift and maneuver objects of considerable weight (50 lbs.)
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of technical college computeroperationscourses
Knowledge of applicableregulatory standardsand requirements for infant formula and nutritionals
Ability to make decisionsbased on awareness of areaoperations
Ability to deal with people under high pressure and in a constantlychanging environment
Good written/verbal communication skills,interpersonal skillsandanalyticaltroubleshootingskills
